Purple Tulip Design is the result of over 30 years of floral design experience, a pipe dream, a divine appointment, and a beautiful friendship.  Flowers have always been a part of my life.  At 18, I worked at a plant nursery with a little flower counter. My boss was getting married, and he wanted us all to help with his flowers. We had no clue, so we went to the library to check out books on wedding flowers and figured it out; It was lovely and I was hooked! I worked in a couple of retail flower shops through and after college for 10 or so years combined and operated loosely under the name of Purple Tulip Design on the side. I loved creating unique and affordable weddings for my friends, and meaningful memorial flowers for my family and loved ones as they passed. In January of 2023, I was offered an opportunity to adopt the business partners and clients of a well established and trusted flower business in Windsor, Colorado. We took a leap of faith and said, "Yes" to this new adventure and made Purple Tulip Design official and incorporated as an LLC. 

My husband said, "I guess we are building a shop", so stay tuned for construction updates!  For now, he has graciously given up his garage that he has helped convert into a temporary flower studio space in true, home-business fashion!

I have to thank my boys too, as they have been delivery drivers, content editors, social media managers, etc.  I feel so blessed to be living out a dream that I forgot I was dreaming, and that God remebered!
